5 Steps To Make Your Dreams Come True

We all have a dream, an ambition in life. You may be fortunate and known from when you were young what you wanted from life and still want to pursue that dream today.We may have known for a long time what we would want to do but end up in a different direction away from your dreams. We may have attempted at our dreams, but it didn't work out for some reason. No matter where you are if you have a dream or you need to go back to think what you truly want from life you can make it happen. To make these dreams come true we have to make steps forward.

1) Dream board. Start with a dream board and write or do a collage of what you want to do. Great way to put your dreams in colour and on paper to put your ideas into reality. Look at your dream board daily. Put it where you would regularly see it. Maybe on your laptop/computer. It could be a slideshow you put up and watch before you start your work, a collage for your bedroom, wherever is best for you.

2) Imagine yourself being where you want to be. Beware of your body and how it feels, you may feel excited, energetic, feel unstoppable and want to go towards your dreams. Use that energy of excitement to push you to where you want to go. If you have a moment of doubt remember that feeling and where you want to be and you are getting closer to your goal.

3) Read up about what you want. Gain knowledge and apply where possible to move forward to where you want to go. It's good to see what people have made a success to fulfill their dreams in similar fields to what you want to do. It's encouraging to know that it is possible if you make steps towards your goal. Anything is possible, it's only yourself that will step in the way to not make your dreams come true. What do you have to lose? Go for it!

4) Don't let anyone tell you, you can't do it. It's your life and dream and if you truly want it you will get where you want by believing in yourself and working towards your goal. Sometimes people can be jealous as you have the courage to follow your heart and not follow what is expected of you. We are very lucky to have choices and do what we want and why not start today by getting closer to your dream. Make a step forward now.

5) Stay focused. It can be difficult sometimes to keep going but it will be well worth it when you get where you want to go. We do live in a society where we can get things quickly. We wonder why it takes some time to do something as a lot of things come in an instant. That doesn't mean it won't happen. You could win the lottery tomorrow and get everything you dream or desire but how satisfying is it that you fulfilled your dream because you made it happen.

Patience Jonathan Shared Expired Rice For Bayelsa Women Instead of The Promised Empowerment.

It was ridiculous on Thursday  in Bayelsa, home of  Nigeria President as the women in the state got to realize that the rice distributed by the first lady Patience Jonathan to some of them has expired.

 It was reported that the women was deceitfully invited for an "empowerment program"   under the umbrella of Millennium Development Goal, (MDG), a United Nation benchmarks meant for erredication of poverty,  not knowing it will be a political rally for the President second term.

It was also gathered that some of the women were frustrated as some of the rice distributed to them has expired while others went back home with empty hand despite being waiting for Mrs Jonathan since 5:00am. An angry woman condemn the attitude saying:  
"We came from our communities since 5 a.m.; I have not eaten and stayed under sun and rain, and now they are sending us home with empty hands.”

Another woman, who can no longer hide her feelings also said:  “Is it because general elections are around the corner? In fact, if I were some people, I will reject any empowerment. Where was she all this while? Some of us have refused to be deceived by this political gimmick. Look at the kind of suffering one is going through because she is coming. Must she create tension each time she visits anywhere? I have been trapped in this traffic logjam for a long time for a journey that would not have been more than 30 minutes.”

The women were also teargassed to caution their protest.

Also distributed at the venue were: sewing machines, Keke Napep(Tricycles), and Hair Dryers.

EKITI: Youth Reject Stomach Infrastructure Agenda.

The Ekiti state youth has rejected the just defended stomach infrastructure agenda by their new Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

They made this known through a group known as EKITI YOUTH VANGUARD, (EYV). The nation reveal a statement by the group spokesperson, Charles Olakunle, that the plan of the Governor to meet his people in the beer parlor every fridays was condemned and urged the Governor to engage in productive agenda instead.

Fakunle said: “Is it in beer parlours alone that the governor can meet the people to solve their problems?

What of their farms, workshops, trading shops, learning centres and union associations’ offices?

“Why not take a census of these groups and create funding schemes for them to improve their trades and grow their businesses?

“Is it while people are under alcoholic influence that they can plan worthwhile schemes? How much will the governor spend on the masses?”

  EYC then pity the youth that embrace the act and warned them to care about their future that this stomach infrastructure can only spoil their future.

Tambuwal Finally Dump PDP For APC.

The Speaker of the house of representative, Aminu Tambuwal has finally defect from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and join  All Progressive Congress, (APC) after almost a month of speculations.

He made the declaration on Tuesday to his Honorable colleagues in accordance with the law.

The speaker has been suspected over a month ago through his association with the main opponent party and subsequent snubs of meeting by the PDP chiefs. It became more clear over a week ago when Mr Tambuwal attended a meeting of the major opposition party at his home state, Sokoto.
But the Honorable speaker denied leaving PDP to save his status and said he only attended the meeting as a response to invitation by his state Governor, Aliyu Wamako.

 Tambuwal is understood to have  a Governorship ambition for his Sokoto state.

Controversial popular singer Cossy Orjiakor  seem to have entered war against  a mobile network service provider known as Airtel.

It was gathered that the information of the actress  turned dancer and musician is wrong and that all her effort to make Airtel correct  the data proved unsuccessful. And this made the famous 'milk factory flaunter' to be frustrated.

“Airtel, please stop frustrating me. Is it that your data base is corrupt or you need new computers? I can personally donate a laptop,” Cossy was quote on Twitter on Monday.

 “(I) bought my line while it was Econet, 08023053120, from a dealer 8-10 years ago in Surulere (Lagos). Why is the dealers name still in your data base?

“Each time I come to retrieve at Airtel office, (I am being told) same old story. Right now, (I) am sitting down in a kiosk. No AC, He (has) been calling 743 same story.”

24 Kitchen Safety Guides

Flames, electric appliances, hot stoves, sharp knives, slippy floors. The kitchen can be a dangerous place. We asked Alison Jacobson, a national family safety and wellness expert known as The Safety Mom, for suggestions to keep us—and our families—safe while we cook. 

1. Check your smoke alarm batteries
You know the rule of thumb: Check them in the fall and spring, when the clocks change. But it doesn’t hurt to do a monthly test as well. Sick of false alarms? Jacobson recommends the combination fire alarm (see #2) so you won’t disable the alarm when you burn toast and forget to reset it.

2. Install a combination smoke alarm
"It’s recommended that a smoke detector that uses photoelectric technology rather than the standard ionization alarm be installed in kitchens," Jacobson tells us. "Ionization alarms detect fast-flaming fires; The photoelectric alarm detects smoldering fires."

Best option? “A combination photoelectric/ionization alarm, such as this one from First Alert,” she adds. “If you currently have an ionization alarm, it should be at least 10 feet away from cooking appliances.”

3. Check your carbon-monoxide alarm batteries
Why? “When a gas oven is malfunctioning, carbon monoxide (CO) can build up in your kitchen. “Hundreds of Americans die accidentally every year from CO poisoning caused by malfunctioning or improperly used fuel-burning appliances,” warns Jacobson.

4. Make sure you have enough carbon-monoxide alarms
"It’s important to have a CO detector installed on every floor of your home to alert you of elevated levels of CO. Symptoms of CO poisoning include headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath, and nausea. If anyone in your family is experiencing these symptoms, turn off the gas oven and leave immediately!” Jacobson stresses. 

5. Have your oven inspected annually by a professional or your gas company

6. Buy a good fire extinguisher…
"Kidde’s Kitchen Fire Extinguisher is a great choice," says Jacobson, "as it’s specifically designed for kitchen grease fires—never try to put out a grease fire with water, as that could actually cause it to increase."

7. …and put it in a practical place
"The best place to put the fire extinguisher is by the door of the kitchen so you have easy access."

8. Buy a fire blanket
"Fire blankets are another safety item that should be in all kitchens," says Jacobson. "They are designed to extinguish small, starting fires." 

9. Feel the casing of your microwave
"If the outside of the microwave becomes very hot, this could be a sign of trouble," Jacobsen warns.

10. Inspect the microwave power cord
"It’s always important to check the electrical cord of your microwave for any fraying or damage on a regular basis. And if your circuit breaker frequently trips when you’re using it, this could be a sign of a serious electrical issue.

11. Don’t try to fix your microwave!
"Most importantly, if you suspect there is a problem with your microwave, never try to repair it yourself! There are numerous cases of people electrocuting themselves trying to fix their microwave," cautions Jacobson.

12. Check for microwave recall notices
Jacobson tells us: “In 2013, a Consumer Reports article detailed troubling issues with some microwaves that were turning on by themselves, in particular KitchenAid and GE models. These two manufacturers had the most fire-related microwave complaints on SaferProducts.gov, a Consumer Product Safety Commission website.”

13. Mail in manufacturer’s warranty information
"It’s important that you submit manufacturer’s warranty information so you can be contacted in the event of a recall," says Jacobson. "If you’ve moved into a home with a built-in microwave and are unsure, visit theCPSC website and research whether there’s been a recall with your oven."

14. Buy a nonslip mat for your kitchen
"Falls in the home are one of the leading causes of injury for people of every age. There are low-profile floor mats available in every color to match your flooring. These should be placed in areas where liquids and oils are most likely to spill, including in front of the refrigerator, sink, stove, and garbage."

15. Choose top-quality oven mitts
Jacobson loves silicone mitts with cloth linings:
* They offer the best protection for heat up to at least 450 degrees F.
* They’re easy to clean, and therefore there’s less concern about bacteria or mold.
* The cloth lining making gripping easier, and therefore there’s less chance of dropping a hot dish or pan.
One of the biggest dangers with cloth mitts is that when they get wet, they can burn terribly. Silicone mitts are waterproof, eliminating this concern.

16. Keep your knives sharp
"Dull knives lead to more injuries. A dull knife requires you to use more pressure, which leads to a greater risk of you losing control of it," warns Jacobson.

17. Wear shoes when using a knife!
"If it accidentally drops, quickly step back and don’t try to catch it!"

18. Be careful cleaning knives
Double-check when you’re cleaning a knife to be sure the sharp side is pointing away from you.

19. Store knives sensibly
"Store knives in a wooden block, never in a drawer, and make sure it is pushed far back on the counter so kids can’t reach it."

20. Give children a kitchen safety zone"Create an area for your child to play safely away from the sink and stove where boiling water could be spilled or a knife dropped," says Jacobson.

21. Keep appliances and cords out of reach of kids
"It’s amazing how far little arms can reach. Be sure that all electrical appliances are pushed far back on the counter and no cords are dangling."

22. Don’t let children get up to the counter
"Keep step stools and benches locked away in closets to prevent little ones from climbing up onto the counter."

23. Lock spices away from children
"While spices are a staple in every kitchen, certain ones can be toxic to children—keep them stored in a high cabinet, preferably with a lock on it," Jacobson advises.

24. Give seniors living alone gadgets to keep them safe in the kitchen
"Due to cognitive impairments such as dementia, the elderly are particularly at risk for kitchen fires due to unattended cooking.

"

Jacobson’s recommendations:

"The Safe-T-Element are plates that can be installed over existing burners on electric stoves. An electronic controller housed inside the oven monitors and controls the temperature of each burner. The maximum temperature of the burners with the Safe-T-Element installed will only reach 662 degrees F, which is hot enough to boil water and safely cook food but not hot enough to ignite oils and most common fibers.

The Stove Guard for Natural Gas Stoves is a sensor that will automatically turn off the natural gas valve if it senses an unsafe level of gas in the kitchen that could be caused by a gas leak or a flame that has gone out, causing gas to continuously escape into the room potentially resulting in a fire.

Stove Guard operates in two modes: In the auto mode, it automatically shuts the stove off if the user is out of the sensing area longer than a selected time. When the user returns, the stove is turned on again automatically. The timer mode allows the stove to operate for a preset amount of time. This mode can be used when cooking a specific dish. Other features include an audible alarm that notifies the user when the Stove Guard turns the stove off, and a fail-safe feature that automatically disables power to the stove or cook top if the monitoring unit fails or loses power.

Dont Support Atiku for 2015; Obasanjo Warned APC

Former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has warned the All Progressive Congress, APC, to avoid giving his former partner, Atiku Abubakar the 2015 Presidential ticket.

Obasanjo who had been operating like a yam on the fence between the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Congress (APC) gave the warning during a visit to  his Hill-Top house at Abeokuta by the APC leaders lead by Chief Bola Tinubu.

It was gathered that the party leaders make the move to consult Obasanjo on whom to give the 2015 presidential ticket. 
Obasanjo after showing his gratitude over the visit then gave details on the two APC aspirants. He then warned not to pick Atiku.
There are presently two Presidential aspirants for APC namely: Atiku Abubakar and Mohamed Buhari.

How To Manage Long Distance Relationship

Couples yearn to live closely to each partner to able to do things together like eating together at the same table, taking a walk together, holding each other's hand etc. These experiences are the wish of long distance relationships. Long distance relationship may be difficult and presumed by many as complicated and something that will never work out.

The fact is no couple can be in a long distance relationship forever and definitely have to settle down. Long distance relationship has prospect of potentially collapsing, but it doesn't mean they're impossible. Adjusting your attitude and lifestyle can help you keep your love one in your life.

First and foremost you need to build trust: As long you both are interested in keeping the relationship let not the distance you share make any difference. You being in long distance relationship doesn't mean your social life has to come to an end. You must not interrogate your partner anytime he/she hang out with friends or miss your call. Be calm and not anxious or jealous if you don't always know what your partner is up to. Try to maintain your social activities and be enthuse with yourselves.

Secondly, communication is a key factor in sustaining long distance relationship: it is important to create and preserve the emotional connection. Discuss about your achievement and misfortunes, ask for your partner's opinion. You can use chats or webcams and other programs for pictorial connection. You can also write love letters and send gifts which are tangible.

Furthermore you have to support each other: since you are not in a short distance relationship, it is vital to be there for your partner when he /she is in trouble. Be there physically when you are needed because most often your presence with a love one through his /her trying times gives the assurance that the love you have for each other is still alive and kicking.

Moreover you have to talk about your goal and expectation of the relationship: it is important that you two have the same goal and expectation. Questions like how long you plan on being apart? What the future holds for you two? What you want to achieve at the end of the day. Both of you need to be clear with what your expectations are of with each other. Fayose And His Thugs Beat Up Judge In Ekiti High Court.

The Ekiti state anti-law Governor elect is fueling more trouble as he reportedly slapped a Judge and subsequently ordered his thugs to beat the law expert in the court hall for challenging him of court disorderliness.

The witness made it known that pro Fayose thugs arrived around 6:00am on Thursday in attendance for the hearing of  the governorship election petition tribunal held on Thursday at the state High Court in Ado Ekiti. It was also heard that Police teams from Police headquarter were around the major streets and the Court premises before the arrival of the thugs.

The Judge, Justice Adeyeye's offence to the Governor elect was calling him to caution his men from going against court rules and orderliness the action that Fayose described as "rudeness"

Mr Fayose subsequently shouted the Judge down, slapped him and ordered his thug to beat him. The thugs immediately bounced on Justice Ayodele, beat him up and tore his clothes. The Judge co-workers ran and shouted for help.

The court was closed and prevention was made against any court proceeding for ours by the workers
for hours before the Police could overcome the situation.

Justice Ayodele is said to be receiving treatment in a private hospital.

It should be recollect that such action was equally made by the same suspected PDP thugs on monday. Litigants, court workers and others were also beaten in the scenario to against the hearing of a case challenging the Eligibility of Mr Fayose in the June 21 Governorship election.

Its Over: Nigeria Now Free Of Ebola, Released The Last Surveillance Contacts.

According to the Nigeria Minister of health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, Ebola Virus had been overcome in Nigeria and has release the final list of the contacts surveillance. 

The minister made this known on a telephone interview earlier this week before finally shed more light on it:  “Presently, there is no single case of Ebola virus disease in Nigeria – none.”  Said Onyebuchi.

“No cases are under treatment, no suspected cases. There are no contacts in Lagos that are still under surveillance, having completed a minimum of 21 days of observation.”   He continued.

The  system of identifying the virus disease that kills within 21 days of contact invilved anyone showing no symptom after 21 days of last detected victim is considered free.

“None of them are showing any symptoms. Tonight [Mon 22 Sept] will mark the end of their 21 days of observation and the plan is to get them discharged from surveillance tomorrow [Tues 23 Sept].”

“Nigeria will be as clean as any other country as far as Ebola virus disease is concerned.” 

This means Nigeria will be totally free of Ebola Virus when the quarantined victims are treated and  their health restored.

Ebola was transmitted to Nigeria by the neutralized American and Liberian Ministry of Finance official, Patrick Sawyer, on his business trip for a meeting in Lagos on July 23. And within that period till now, Nigeria has recorded 21 Ebola cases and 8 death.

The Full Story and Reason for Court Invasion by PDP Thugs In Ekiti.

Panicky lawyers, litigants and officials ran out of the court room, screaming as scores of thugs hurled missiles at them.

Some ran into their offices and shut their doors; others hid under tables, away from the rampaging thugs.

The police, apparently overwhelmed by the violence, looked helpless as windows were smashed and furniture broken.

That was the scene yesterday at the High Court in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, where Mr. Justice Isaac Ogunyemi ruled that the court had jurisdiction to hear the integrity case against Mr. Ayodele Fayose, the governor-elect and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the June 21 election.

The hoodlums yanked off branches of a tree within the court premises to lash perceived opposition figures at the proceedings, which had got half-way before Mr. Justice Ogunyemi sought a brief break to resume sitting at noon.

The hoodlums, some of whom had earlier engaged the security officials in the courtroom in arguments over what they saw as impartiality, said the security agents barred their party men from entering the courtroom and sitting down while the hearing lasted but allowed the opposition.

The argument soon snowballed into full scale confrontation. People were shouting and people perceived to be obstructing the thugs’ aspirations were dragged on the courtroom’s floor and dealt blows, using all manner of objects.

Judges, Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs), lawyers, journalists, court officials and magistrates ran for dear lives, hiding in offices, court registries, under chairs, tables, other places and objects which could serve as temporary hideouts, as the hoodlums assaulted defenceless people.

As thugs went from office to office to seek out perceived opposition members who they dealt with without resraint, the police, who thinned both in number and significance, watched helplessly. Shots were fired by those no one could ascertain but these could not deter the rampaging band who had reduced the court rooms to a rendezvous of mayhem and unrest.

Mr. Justice Ogunyemi became a target of the hoodlums, who openly condemned his ruling.

They sang songs in Yoruba to condemn the said ruling and threatened to deal with him (Mr. Justice Ogunyemi) if accessible. The intervention of a special group of about six officers from the Riot Squad however assured a safe escape for Mr. Justice Ogunyemi, who all along had been holed up in his office. His (Mr. Justice Ogunyemi’s) escape around 12:55 pm effectively halted proceedings for the day.

Mr. Justice Ogunyemi had declared that he had jurisdiction to entertain the cases of the Citizens Popular Party (CPP) and that of Adeniyi Ajakaye and others, which challenged the eligibility of Mr. Ayo Fayose to contest the June 21 election.

In a ruling on Fayose’s and PDP’s preliminary objection, Mr. Justice Ogunyemi maintained that the respondent had not judiciously discharged the responsibility under the law of evidence to furnish the court with sufficient evidence upon which the relief sought by the defendant applicant could be based.

Mr. Justice Ogunyemi also declared both the CPP and the PDP as non juristic persons who could not sue or be sued. He, however, submitted that striking out the names of the second claimant and second defendant did not affect the relief sought by the claimant on eligibility pursuant to Order 13, Rule 16 (1) of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules of Ekiti State.

He also dismissed the application of the respondent, which challenged his ruling of June 6 in an ex-parteapplication on the abridgment of time within which the respondent could file his reply, declaring that the said order the defendant sought to set aside was not obtained fraudulently as contended by the defendants.

Mr. Justice Ogunyemi dismissed PDP’s application, saying the court cannot set aside its June 6 ruling and that the time frame had been overtaken by events, which he (Justice Ogunyemi) maintained had rendered the whole exercise a mere academic exercise.

The Ekiti State government condemned the attack on judges, lawyers , litigants and workers.

The government, which viewed the invasion of the hoodlums believed to be supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as “an unwarranted desecration of the temple of justice”, also blamed the escalation of the crisis on the nonchalant attitude displayed by policemen at the court premises.

The government, in a statement said it amounted to a barbaric act of epic proportion for a group of people to gang up to invade a court in a bid to avert hearing in a case brought for determination before a judge.

This attempt to subvert the rule of law and throw the Ekiti into a state of confusion and  violence is most condemnable.

It urged security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous act are brought to book.

The government said it would do everything possible to ensure that the full weight of the law is meted out to anyone found perpetrating violence in the state just as it assured members of the public of adequate security for their lives and properties.

On Tuesday, the litigant, E-Eleven, issued a statement describing the incident as representing another low for Ekiti State. “This ugly episode represents another low in the image of Ekiti in the eyes of the world. Gradually Ekiti is once again becoming a laughing stock while our claim to honour, integrity and intellectual sophistication is being thrown to the dogs,” the group said through its chairman, Femi Ajiniran. “To us, this is a big shame! Our long cherished values were once debased and nearly destroyed. It has taken some effort thus far to redeem those values. The Assault on Judiciary in Ekiti ( A Statement by E11)

 After a prolonged delay occasioned perhaps by the annual vacation of the judiciary, the presiding Judge in Ekiti eventually ruled on the preliminary objection raised by Mr. Fayose on the eligibility case in respect of his candidacy in the Ekiti Governorship election placed by members of E-11 before the judiciary for determination. For us, we believe this was the civilized and cultured step to take in a matter of this constitutional significance. Regrettably and as if to confirm our fears of an impending anarchist era worse than was once witnessed in Ekiti, a group of hoodlums was sponsored to unleash mayhem on the court and all those who have come before the court for refuge. Our members were severely brutalized and are now lying in critical condition in the hospital. Members of the public who came innocently to witness the historic proceedings were not spared this gang assault and brutality by this group of anarchists. But even more disturbing and horrendous is the attack on the officers of the court who were merely performing their constitutional duty. As we write, that presiding Judge has fled the State for fear of his life! This ugly episode represents another low in the image of Ekiti in the eyes of the world. To result to violent attack on opposing litigants and officers of the court, worse still within the court premise, should be seen as not only contemptuous of the entire judiciary, but a repudiation of the very basic tripod principle that defines our government system. The Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary are the three equal legs on which our practice of democracy stands. A challenge to one is a challenge to all. We call on the Chief Justice of the Federation to move to assure us all that protection is guaranteed for anyone seeking refuge under the judiciary. The Honourable Chief Justice would need to assure us also that Judicial and Legal officers can perform their duty free of any harassment and intimidation and they are adequately protected against the terrorism of miscreants who really have no commitment whatsoever to modern-day democratic norms, practice and culture. We warned a while back of a grand design at the very top of our nation’s governance to unleash terror on the Southwest and turn the zone over to the stranglehold of a criminally-inclined, violence-disposed, mafia-like, Gestapo-oriented gang. We shudder to think that what has happened in Ekiti is the opening glee of this grand design. It happened before and Ekiti people rose to the occasion to reject the reign of terror. It shall be resisted and fought vigorously again if it becomes necessary. All true democrats must rise to the occasion and reject the enthronement of terror. This is the challenge we face. Thugs Invade Court; Chase Away Judges, Lawyers, Others In Ekiti

A group of people suspected to be PDP thugs reportedly stormed Ekiti High Court of Justice in Ado Ekiti on monday beat up litigant and others.

The movement is suspected to be in favor of the state governor-elect, mr Ayodele Fayose who is a defendant to the case challenging his eligibility in recent June 21 election .

Fayose was challenged by the Citizens Popular Party, CPP, Adeniyi Ajakaye and others the Justice that Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi has welcomed. The trial judge has earlier said that the court has a jurisdiction to here the case and has ordered that the two parties should prepare for hearing by 1:00pm.
The thugs arived arround that time and started beating everybody in sight. People ran for their lives as sluggish litigants and members of anti-Fayose was beaten as well as some reporters covering the scene.
Justice Ogunyemi  one of the target of  the attack escaped.
PDP publicity secretary, Kola Olawole told THE PUNCH:

“The judge openly demonstrated in his ruling that he has jurisdiction on the matter and simultaneously commenced hearing of the matter without giving the respondent the opportunity to signify an appeal,” - 

The injured people were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, chief Jide Awe, the interim chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, has condemn the act and related it to that of Idi Amin era.

“We are back to the Idi Amin era in Ekiti where judges and lawyers are attacked in court. This is terrible. - 
But the APC has no case in the court and we were not there to witness the attack.”

High Rank Boko Haram member Captured By Nigerian Army.

Report reaching Loadedtips reveals that the Nigerian Army has engaged in a very hot battle with the terrorists group, boko haram, and were able to capture a top member of the insurgent group.

Director of Defence Information (DDI), Maj-Gen. Chris Olukolade made it clear that a serious fight occurred between boko haram group and the Nigerian army  in battle to regain the areas overthrown by the terror group.

He said:   “seriously wounded high ranking terrorists leader is being treated in a military medical facility after he was captured in the operations at Konduga”

Apart from from loosing many members, the millitants also lost many of their weapons including Hilux vehicles, one armoured personnel carrier and a cache of arms and ammunition  to Nigerian Army.

Ebola: Tension In Osun As OAU Student Got Infected

Yesterday, Tension entered the whole Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Campus when it was discovered that a student of the institution was infected by Ebola Virus.

The victim is reportedly contacted the disease from late Port Harcourt Doctor, Iyke Enemuo who recently died of the the disease.

Report has made it known that the female student admitted she actually had contact with the late Doctor.

The Commissioner of Health, Dr Temitope Ilori said "the female student had been put in the isolation ward".

“I was told that a student of the OAU who had contact with the doctor who died of the Ebola virus in Port Harcourt walked into the health centre when she was sick. Ilori Continued

“She was said to have told doctors at the health centre that she had contact with the Port Harcourt doctor and was put under surveillance but she said she tested negative that time.

“Now she returned to the OAU to continue with her studies and was sick. She was said to have walked to the health centre and told them everything about her contact with the doctor.

“Her blood sample has been taken for another test in Lagos and we are awaiting the result. We pray she is not positive but she has been isolated at the health centre.” Ilori Concluded.

Obasanjo: I Meet Jonathan on Insecurity; Nothing More.

Former Nigerian president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had made it clear that he actually had a meeting behind the closed door with President Goodluck Jonathan and that the meeting was only based on the insecurity state of the Country.

It was understood earlier this week that Obasanjo traveled to visit President Jonathan in Aso Rock and different suggestions has arised why such visit and the prompted meeting should be behind the closed door.

There seem to be frosty  relationship between the two Nigerian leaders. Suggestions has surrounded the un-announced visit to Abuja by the former President that the meeting was held to settle the dispute. But on the contrary, Obasanjo said they did not discuss any issue other than the security.

While attending to the reporters at his Hilltop home after his arival, he said:

 “Yes, I can confirm that I met with Mr. President on his invitation. In fact, he had wanted to come to Abeokuta, but as a sign of respect to the Office of the President, I had to go. We had discussion on the country’s security issues and that is all.”   

The former Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) has view days ago backed the Federal Government over the effort to curb the spread of Ebola Virus Disease. Also on the recent ethnic crisis in Nasarawa between the Eggon and Fulanis, he said:
 “there is no way, such will not happen, but the two state governments should come up with a lasting solution. The farmers would want their crops to be protected, while the cattle men will also want their cattle to feed. So, the government should fashion out peaceful means to end the crisis.”
