Sometime we want our smart-phone to be more secure to prevent unauthorizes access to it either from friends or our kids, best way to do this is to lock the screen either with code or using pattern screen lock.
However, this process began to bring headache when you forget the used code or pattern. You might have been thinking of dumping your phone or taking it to the engineers out there.

Step 1. Power off the phone
Step 2. Make sure to remove your memory card and backup all your messages and Contacts.
Step 3. Press the volume-up key and home key and proceed to power button at the same time.
Step 4. The phone should on to a LCD screen, if you see this, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
(Note: use the volume key to highlight your choice i.e. use it to highlight Wipe Data/Factory Reset and use the home key or power button to select/ok/enter)
Step 5. Wait until you see Restart Now
Step 6. Select Restart Now and your phone will restart, boot without requeting for code anymore.
